Yamamotoyama Hojicha Roasted Green Tea

Hojicha is a variety of Japanese green tea where the tea leaves are roasted over charcoal rather than being steamed to give a dark brown colour to the tea. The taste is less bitter than normal green tea with a smooth, toasted flavour and less caffeine.

16 teabags wrapped in individual aluminium packets for continuing freshness and better taste. This Yamamotoyyama genmaicha tea is made in the USA using quality tea leaves and brown rice which are packaged into tea bags so you can enjoy the great taste, without the fuss.

Brewing Instruction

As this tea is packaged in teabags, it is simple to prepare.

• Add one teabag per cup or one teabag per person if brewing in a pot.
• Use approximately 80°C water to brew the tea.
• Allow the tea to infuse for approximately 3 minutes, then remove the tea bag.
