In this ever popular supplement we combine astaxanthin, the pink carotenoid with blackcurrant for added benefits.
Derived from the fresh water algae, Haematococcus pluvialis, this amazingly pink carotenoid is a powerhouse for anyone with an eye on their skin or their eyes. Combine it with the anthocyanidins, polyphenols and vitamin C found naturally in blackcurrants and you have one supercharged formula!
We also add tomato powder which is a source of the bright red carotenoid lycopene. Carotenoids naturally help protect plants from damaging free-radicals, unstable molecules which can damage cellular DNA, harmful in excess to the eyes and skin.
